Sorrento, with its stunning views over the Bay of Naples and charming traditional architecture, is a highlight of our holiday.
For a deeper experience, join our optional Taste of Sorrento excursion, featuring a guided walking tour and a visit to a Limoncello factory. Here, you’ll explore the orchard, learn about the production process, and enjoy a tasting of this iconic lemon liqueur.

In AD 79, Mount Vesuvius erupted, burying the Roman city of Herculaneum under volcanic ash.
On our optional excursion, discover this remarkably preserved site, hidden until the late 18th century, offering a unique glimpse into life two thousand years ago, much like nearby Pompeii.
Optional Herculaneum excursion (£61pp)
On our optional excursion, we journey through picturesque countryside to Castel Gandolfo, nestled on the shores of Lake Albano and home to the Pope’s summer residence. While most of the town belongs to the Vatican City, please note that entry into the residence is prohibited.
We then continue to Frascati, where we’ll visit a pergolato to sample local delicacies such as porchetta, cheese, olives, and wine. Enjoy free time to explore this charming, laid-back town before we return to our hotel.
Optional Frascati and Castel Gandolfo excursion (£33pp)
As our holiday draws to a close, we say goodbye to Fiuggi and will travel north through the night.
